A highly effective systemic insecticide that protects crops from rodents and gnawing pests. Darwin also has a translaminar mechanism of action, it is quickly absorbed from the leaves, moves into the phloem (tissue), therefore its effect is not affected by rain and temperature. The drug is characterized by good thermostability, it is equally effective both at low and high temperatures.
Mechanism of action: acetamiprid – systemic action in pests disrupts the process of transmission of nerve impulses, which leads to their rapid death. Absorbed by plant tissue and rapidly transported by systemic translaminar activity to protect the entire leaf. Features:
- It is toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms, partially harmful to birds, animals and less toxic to bees.
- The drug is effective against all stages of the pest.
- It can be used in combination with other preservatives.
