Jilda Nagylovi is a female farmer from Akhalsofli, who started viticulture completely independently, from scratch. As she says, the work started 4 years ago was not easy, moreover, she often heard from experienced farmers that a woman could not lead agribusiness. However, the skeptics were disappointed and this year they are expecting up to 5 tons of safera.

According to Jilda Nadalivi, doing business became a particularly pleasant and rapidly developing process after the cooperation with “Baraka” started. As the farmer says, in addition to using “Baraka” products in the production process, the company’s employees actively help him in the training process.

“As a beginning female farmer, I decided to grow Saperavi grapes. I have been engaged in this activity for the fourth year.

In general, it is very difficult when you are a woman and start working in agriculture, because women are always looked at differently. They think that such an activity will not work, but I am a fighter by nature, I try my best to achieve whatever I set as a goal. Men told me that it was a very difficult job, but because I took it upon myself to do it, I followed through. At the same time, I was motivated by the fact that I was moving forward and I wanted to reach the goal. I wanted to create on my own and have my own business.

I always thought that if a person does not try, nothing will succeed. By the way, there were bad evaluations, Rulia, he is a bad farmer and I regret it, but I still didn’t believe him and took this job. As a result, at this stage, I, as a beginner, am not really satisfied with my achievements and the results of my work.

At the moment, I have grown 3000 saplings on 1 hectare. I come every 2-3 days, as you know, everything has its stages, which I go through myself. I’m still in development. The vineyard gave me grapes in the third year, about 1 ton, already this year I expect a full harvest, up to 5 tons. I would definitely like to mention here that it is quite difficult to take care of Saperavi, compared to Rkatsiteli, and “Baraka” helps me a lot in this. I want to get more crops, that’s why I applied to them and it exceeded my expectations. I am especially grateful to “Baraka”, the employees who encouraged me and supported me. “Baraka” helped me to study and to do the work much easier”, says Gilda Nadzhalov.

According to him, the cooperation with the company “Baraka” started only this year, however, it is already waiting for the first results in the autumn.

A female farmer who turned saferavi cultivation into a successful business in 4 years - "Baraka helped me to learn and do the job much easier"

“I am very satisfied with the attention alone and also with the pesticides and tools that should help me grow my products and get a good quality harvest. This year, I have to have my last poisoning in August, and already in the fall, I will see the results of “Baraka” better. Almost half of the products have already arrived, the weather has also coincided with this, I hope the factories will help us and the reception will start earlier”, – notes Jilda Nadashvi.

According to him, cooperation with “Baraka” is a big step forward for farmers who want to develop their own activities.

As for the formula of success, as the farmer woman says, love for one’s work will lead everyone to the goal.

“I personally, as a farmer, would recommend cooperation with “Baraka” to all other farmers and especially to beginners. Because first of all, they are very attentive. It doesn’t matter what you produce, there is a human factor here, you use their products and they are interested in what stages you go through and whether you get the results you want or not. It is also important for them whether the money you spend actually gives you the desired result or not.

In general, I would say something like this, everyone should love their work and do it that way. This is the formula for success. Personally, I enjoy my routine very much, coming to the place, interacting with the vines, starting from leveling the land, planting and caring for it, I have done everything with my own hands”, says Gilda Nadulovi.
