Fertiron is an eco-friendly molluscicide based on iron phosphate (FePO4). It represents a “smart” solution for pest control, as its active ingredient is a natural mineral that enriches the soil with nutrients after decomposition.
Slugs often pose a threat to plants because they feed on green tissue and hinder development.
How Fertiron’s Unique Technology Works

Bait: The granules contain food components attractive to slugs. When moistened, the bait swells and becomes even more enticing for the pests.

Feeding Block: Upon ingestion, the active ingredient damages the slug’s digestive system. The pest immediately loses its appetite and stops feeding.

Isolation and Death: Unlike chemical agents, slugs poisoned by Fertiron do not die on the surface; they move to underground shelters and die there. The plant surface remains free of slime, and dead pests are not left on the soil.

Usage Recommendation
