Description
INFISS is a contact and ingestion pyrethroid insecticide containing Deltamethrin. The product acts at very low doses and is non-systemic, ensuring minimal residue content in the plant and a short breakdown period.
Mechanism of Action: The active ingredient, Deltamethrin, which belongs to the synthetic pyrethroid group, damages the pest’s nervous system by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses, leading to rapid paralysis and death of the insect.Key Advantages of INFISS
Key Advantages of INFISS
- Immediate “Knock-down” Effect: Within minutes of spraying, the insect suffers paralysis, stops feeding, and dies shortly after. This property is particularly effective during mass pest outbreaks.
- Repellent Effect: Scares away insects approaching the treated crops.
- Antifeedant Effect: Causes loss of appetite and cessation of feeding in already affected insects.
- Lethal Action: Destroys the pest immediately upon contact.
- Rain Fastness: The product adheres well to the leaf surface and is rapidly absorbed into the insect cuticle (skin). Due to its lipophilic properties, INFISS maintains high effectiveness even in case of rainfall, provided a short time has passed since spraying.
